Love this place! Just moved back from the Northeast and was craving a Lox bagel. Couldn't find one anywhere, but they had it! It was just like in DC. Coffee was delicious too, and everything was a great price. Definitely recommend!!

This is our go-to place for a decent bagel and coffee. The Southern Pecan coffee is the best. The wife gets iced tea and has never had a complaint. They always offer us drinks to go when we are ready to leave. Never had a bad experience here other than days that they are out of our favorite bagel. Locally owned by some great people. I've never had a NY or NJ bagel so I can't comment on how it compares. I'm a Cali guy and these bagels suit me just fine.

In terms of bagels in the Little Rock area, you aren't going to find anything better than this. Morningside is a cozy little place and its a shame that it doesn't stay open longer since I get lox bagel cravings for dinner every once in a while and this place seems to be the only place that serves a lox bagel in Little Rock area.

Oh boy, I sure miss GOOD bagels. We stopped at Morningside Bagels, because the reviews said they were great bagels...NOT! They may be great bagels for Little Rock, AR, but they must not have had any NY/NJ bagels to compare them too. These bagels got hard when I toasted them. They are very dense and very difficult to chew. Bagels should not be fluffy like bread, but they should also not be stone hard either. I'm glad we didn't buy the bag of day old bagels they offer, because I would have just blamed the bad texture to being day old. We tried a variety and not even one would I recommend. Blueberry, cranberry, apple,: No taste. Couldn't tell one from the other. I used butter, not cream cheese, so I could taste the bagel. Nope, will not return. Would rather go without, than have a bad bagel.

I was very pleased with my blueberry bagel. They had a whole bunch of other stuff that I'd like to try, too!

This would be a great hang out if I had more time to spend in Maumelle for breakfast. It's a cozy location, with free wi-fi, and friendly owners. They bake all of their bagels from scratch, and typically have a decent selection to choose from. I've also tried some of the coffee drinks, which tasted great. I believe they also serve lunch if you happen to be in the area during that time.

Stopped in on a cold rainy day and had a couple of bagel sandwiches and some hot chocolate. Food was good and staff was friendly and helpful. Will be back!

Loved it will be back! Defiantly a hipster cool place , I'm more preppy than hipster but it was delicious ! Will be back and not because I live across the street :)

This is the deal, if you truly know a real Jewish Bagel, these are not them. Goofy on their prices too. I heard said, nowadays bagels are steam/baked instead of truly boiled to accommodate newer taste buds, so the idea of a boiled bagel should make your tongue hang out - very disappointing. I was used to deli bagels back in Chicago - just like eeesh Chocolate Gravy isn't known up North, bagels aren't known down here, Panera is a little closer, but still lacking.

Looking for a late breakfast on Memorial Day... lots of the small, local places were closed but thankfully, Morningside was open and they had a couple of tables outside where we could sit with our pooch! My spinach parmesean bagel with regular cream cheese was fresh and yummy. Hubby had the "American" Breakfast Bagel on the spinach parmesean bagel and loved it! The coffee was fresh, hot and good. Service was excellent and friendly. The extra attention and special treats for the pooch gives them 6 stars in my book! 2 huge cookies for an afternoon snack were delish as well! We will be visiting our son in the area a lot and will definitely be finding ourselves noshing on bagels at Morningside!

Made the drive from Downtown LR to this cute quaint bagel shop in a small shopping center with ample parking. Arrived on a Sunday morning around 10:00 am. No problem finding seats, but during busy times that may be an issue. Ordered the everything bagel toasted with honey almond cream cheese. The fiancé ordered the honey oat (wheat) bagel toasted with honey almond cream cheese. We both had coffee- Southern Pecan. Grand total of $8.00+. Service was great and fast. Restaurant was clean and kitchen is available for viewing via a window or plexi-glass.

Unfortunately the bagels here are very dry and bland. Not great. However, great service and friendly employees. Plus good coffee.

I may be biased here, but ever-since i've tried the chocolate bagel with cream cheese topping, i've never wanted to ask for anything else! Of course it goes the best with my small cafe latte!
